Released in September 1998, NFS3 is the third iteration of EA's highly successful Need For Speed series. Featuring the return of the Hot Pursuit mode, (which was left out of NFS2) stunning graphics, and twelve supercars ranging from the beautiful Jaguar XK8 to the amazingly fast Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR, NFS3 was an instant hit.

New to the series is the ability to race as a cop, and give out tickets to speeders. To help you perform your cop duties are an arsenal of three cop cars, a Corvette, Diablo and the fictional El Nino. (also available in non-pursuit form) If the speeders prove to be too fast to catch, you can lay a spike strip to blow their tires out.
